so im a 16 yr. old female im approx. 5’7″ and i weigh about 180. my moms boyfriend used to be a body builder and they went to a competition last weekend and they said that the women and girls wasnt really that great bc they was not built they was just toned. me and my mom was talkin this morning and she said that would be something good for me to do. i thought about it and i agree. i need some help tho. all 180 lbs. is not all fat. i used to play volleyball for my high school so some of that is calf muscle. if you have any diet plans workout routines ANYTHING that might help please tell ‘em to me! the only reason my moms boyfriend doesnt help is bc he is a football coach and he is always there. so anything will help thanks(:

Female bodybuilding has changed a lot since I did it. Now it has crossed over to a fitness competition. Women bodybuilders were so criticized for taking supplements that they just stopped promoting it.
If your mom is willing to let you do bodybuilding start by reading the natural bodybuilding magazines (I dont recommend Muscle and Fitness for you because they cater to men)
Google Natural Bodybuilding and you will come up with a lot of them.
