@19samkim94 assuming you are meeting the criteria outlined below, than yes it will help, there are better things specifically for pwo.

  2. 19samkim94 says:

pretty much what im asking is if i take syntha 6 after a strenuous workout will it build muscle?

  3. BestPriceNutrition says:

@19samkim94 (cont’d) Also there is no evidence that supplementing extra glutamine helps build muscle. Whether you use Syntha 6 or another protein will not be the difference rather the other factors mentioned above will.

  4. BestPriceNutrition says:

@19samkim94 not sure what you mean, a meal replacement (MRP) has protein, it just also has carbs. In most cases a 2:1 ratio protein:carbs, so you are still getting protein. Protein will help build muscle assuming you are training hard and getting enough protein (other factors include sleep and other macro- and micro nutrients). As for glutamine, there is glutamine in this product as it naturally occurs in whey, egg, and casein.

i recently just bought this and now im getting stressed cause ive been hearing people say that syntha 6 is more of a meal replacement then a protein that can get you bigger/stronger. My question is will syntha 6 get me bigger/stronger because that wasnt dicussed in this video, also does the lack of glutamine in this supplement reduce its effect of rebuilding muscle?

  6. blingzip says:

@BestPriceNutrition Thanks. How about my other question: Is it in a larger tub as well?

  7. BestPriceNutrition says:

@PacquiaoVSgayweather whey would be better due to the faster absorption however assuming you have not eaten a bunch of carbs in the meals leading up your workout be sure to add carbs as well.

  8. BestPriceNutrition says:

    @blingzip lean dessert is currently $15. 99

  9. PacquiaoVSgayweather says:

question is it better to take a whey protein isolate like isoxp right after a workout or syntha-6?

  10. blingzip says:

. . . . along the same thought: Lean Dessert would be perfect for my right-before bed healthy late-night snack. I really like the use of blended proteins especially the caseins to make it thicker. And I like that they DON’T USE SOY PROTEIN!

  11. blingzip says:

@BestPriceNutrition I think I would want to try something like the Lean Dessert, specifically for the lower calories and thicker consistency. How much is it nowadays, and have they stopped making it in larger tubs -better value for monney? I like the concepts behind Syntha6 and Dessert, but I basically want a lower-calorie version of Syntha5 -I figure Lean Dessert is just that?

  12. TheWordMC says:

@BestPriceNutrition oh nevermind, i thought you were talking about syntha 6

  13. TheWordMC says:

@BestPriceNutrition why do you say not to take it immediatley before a workout?

  14. BestPriceNutrition says:

@yob771 what are you talking about when you say “they talking about blending protein together like its a good thing, not even mentioning peptides fighting for absorption?” Peptides are quite stable independent of the source (whey, egg, casein, etc. . . ), therefore competitive inhibition is not a concern. Perhaps you are thinking of free form amino acids and peptides competing for absorption (which is not an issue as there are not free form AAs added to these)? Thanks for checking out our videos.

people working for bsn reviewing bsn products, i wonder what the outcome will be lol. . . . bsn is bullshit on another level. they talking about blending protein together like its a good thing, not even mentioning peptides fighting for absorption, i would go on but i just cant be botherd lol

  16. DragonRising88 says:

bsn is low quality especially with their wheys, waste of money

  17. BestPriceNutrition says:

@EldarVSFS the protein sources are similar, blended whey, egg, and casein. The Lean Dessert Protein has about half the fat and half the carbs and therefore less calories than Syntha 6. Also the Lean Dessert Protein has a little bit thicker consistency. Hope this helps.

  18. EldarVSFS says:

what is the difference between dessert and synthia still didnt get it . . . (( What if i just want to maintain my current wight but get some lean muscle mass ?

  19. BestPriceNutrition says:

@56pirobo anytime besides immediately before a workout. Ultimately your goal should be to take in more calories than you are burning. In addition to whole food meals that’s usually two shakes per day for most people (depending upon how many calories you are taking in from whole food). Try starting with a goal of getting 1g of protein and 2g carbs per pound of body weight (0. 4g fat/lb body weight).

  20. 56pirobo says:

When do you recomende me to drink it to gain weight??????

  21. BestPriceNutrition says:

@56pirobo if you are trying to gain weight, your main concern should be getting more calories than you are burning. Really the only time you should avoid taking true Mass is immediately before a workout (

  22. 56pirobo says:

i am skinny and i am trying to gain wieght at gym and i am consuming true mass when do you recomend me to drink it before going to sleep or aftern a train??

  23. DBiUpload says:

lol at that guy trying to palm maltodextrin off as a good/low g. i carb. . . .

  24. BestPriceNutrition says:

@J13dasilva the rule of thumb with a calorie dense product like this is to avoid taking it too close to your workout as you will end up with too much blood in your gut. You can take it post workout or if you decide to take it pre workout just take it a couple hours before. Also you can use this other times of the day to increase your calorie intake.

  25. BestPriceNutrition says:

@justing5676 give True Mass a try first to see if you can put on some additional muscle. If the extra calories are too much (your bodyfat goes up more than you want) switch to Syntha 6 or another protein powder. Good luck.
