Yes, even the supplements they give geriatric patients (like Ensure) you can buy in the Grocer’s help.

eat more fat, more protien, and if that doesnt work then try the supplement

Intaking sugar like Coke isnt the answer. Weight gainer is just lots of extra calories and carbs. If you do try it, make sure youre working out while taking it or it just turns to fat and not muscle. Eat lots of pasta and rice.

Yes, you can gain weight this way. I used to take gainers fuel from gnc – i mixed it with whole milk. (it’s a powder). I was able to gain over 10 pounds in a few weeks. It’s not cheap though – if I remember right, it was around 35 a tub, which lasts about 1 week. It definitely helped though.
Don’t do the soda thing – too much sugar and empty calories!
    Good luck!

First why not go to your doctor and discuss this with him or her? They may be able to do some tests to find out why you are not gaining any weight. Or if you are not going to go to the doctors try drinking some Ensure with fiber. It help my son.

    yes and no
the weight will gain in a place that is a problem area the best thing to do is nothing you gain weight like nothing but not good weight the best thing to do is eat heartily no fishand chips vegetables and beef fish too but eat constantly even when your not hungry because weight gainer is mostly fat gainer and they expect you to turn that into muscle. you just have to have patience really and if you do work out then do just that and work at it and the gaining will get steadily slower but that is progress.

I have a friend of mine who’s in the same situation. Very thin can’t gain weight. She has tried a weight gaining supplement, but I don’t think she used very long before she stopped using it. She didn’t like the taste. She was told by a health person that to gain weight just eat everything fattening in massive quantities. So enjoy that pizza, ice cream, those cookies.

Here may be something you may find helpful. The human body gains weight by feeding it more calories than is needed or is expended. There are approximately 3500 calories in one pound. Say you were to consume 3500 calories in excess and that you didn’t expend them; you would gain one pound, roughly speaking that is, since it’s not exact. Consuming an excessive amount of calories without exercising is detrimental to the human body. This is due to many factors, one being sedentary, which is very unhealthy. I used to use Weight Gainer, which I bought from GNC. It contained mostly carbohydrates. Whether the calories come from a supplement, such as powder, or from food, the human body won’t gain weight unless it is fed more calories than is needed or expended. However, there are exceptions to this. If you want to gain muscle mass, you must perform resistance training. I recommend drinking more water than soda; it’ll help keep your body healthier. You may still drink soda; just keep your pure water intake higher. I hope this gives you information that you’re looking for.

yes it will help you gain more weight because alot of them have a large amount of calories and protein, and you can find some that have large amounts of fat which will help you increase everything you need in order to put more weight on. Also increasing how much you eat and eating even when you are not hungry is another good way to gain weight. If you are trying to pack on weight you need to multiply your body weight by 2. 2 and then times it by 30. 4 in order to see how many calories you will burn just to survive. Then you need to figure out how many you burn in one day from all of your normal activities and then eat accordingly to that. You may be eating over 3500 calories a day when all is said an done. SInce protein shakes are usually pretty light and most have 800 + calories they make it easier to hit that amount of caloires.
