Bodybuilding supplements-what they are, how they work and why are they used?

This question is about some popular bodybuilding supplements and why they are used. I have questions on:

Weight Gainer- if protein is for growth, what are the extra calories in the form of MCTs/ carbs required for? I thought protein is all you need to grow-what’s all the other stuff for? Instead of weight gainer I use 500ml British Gatorade and 25g Whey Isolate postworkout- is it the same concept?

Creatine- I really don’t understand this. I hear creatine replaces the cell fuel ATP-however I thought cell fuel was called glycogen? Are these 2 the same thing? How do you know your ATP/glycogen is gone-wouldn’t the carbs floating around your body automatically provide energy once fuel goes? Can’t you use carbs for energy instead of creatine (if creatine is protein based then how does it provide energy).

Fat Metaboliser-Doesn’t the body naturally metabolise fat with the exercise? Why use?

Amino Acids- Broken down proteins-can’t you just use complete protein? Any special ones?

NOS-?

Im training for a bodybuilding competition in june. i was told to buy protein powder, creatine powder, and bcaa/glutamine powder.

right now it looksl ike this

PROTEIN SHAKE
-Breakfast
-Postworkout (mix with creatine)

CREATINE
-Pre-workout (with gatorade)
-Post-workout (mix with protein shake)
-Breakfast on a rest day

BCAA/GLUTAMINE
-When should i take these?

and am i taking these supplements correctly?

i wanna start building muscle, ive had many failed attempts in the past so im hoping 2009 is the year for me, i see so many different supplements on the shelves promising the best results blah blah, i just wanna know from individuals experiences what you have used and what works, and how you used it? Ok, I am a 15 year old boy and I am interested in doing bodybuilding. I have looked into BodyBuilding websites, I want to body build and I decided to look into their sites for tips and such, well anyhow they obviously use supplements and such. I am interested in using them to speed up my progress but I am not interested in harming myself so I wanted to find out what is safe for me to use. I have done some reading and such but I want an opinion from people who know about it. Here are some supplements, etc. I have been looking into:

Multi-Vitamins – These are obviously safe for anyone to take so I won’t really bother, I just wanted to mention them to be used in conjunction with other stuff I list.

Protein – Once again, obviously safe. (NITRO TECH)

and last questions…is it ok to deadlift at 15 years old? how about squats?

Creatine -(CELL TECH or NO-XPLODE) To me this appears safe as it is naturally occuring and such. I read that there are no studies proving it harms a teen but there are no actual studies on teens to know. Also it apparently (with current studies) has little to none long term effects, and the regular every day short term stuff.

Anabolic Flavones(ANATOR -P70) – Non Hormonal Flavones that naturally increase protein synthesis, nitrogen retention, and muscle growth. Im assuming that anything natural should be fairly safe?

Which type of bodybuilding supplements is the best to bulk?

I’m currently out of idea whether which supplements do i need to take for my target in bulking.

Protein Supplement: Mostly for those who want for cutting than bulking.

Weght Gainer: I’ve already tried for almost 6 containers of weight gainer supplement. But yet there’re not great enough to be bulk. (Items that I’ve tried are GNC Amplified Mass XXX, BSN True Mass, ON Serious Mass)

Creatine: Almost the best in bulking IMO. But, it has to be taken as long-term supplement. Because if i’ve stopped for about 2 months, i will lose my size again as the water weight in the bulked muscle has came out.

Steroid: I WONT consume any of it as it’s an all-in-all chemical products.

So which supplements do the best for me? Please answer my question just only based on your bodybuilding experience. If you’re not very sure, please dont even drop down irrelevant answers as i will only pick the REAL DAMN BEST answer of all. Thank you :)

Additional Info:
I’m weighing 55kg and about 5’5 tall. I’m aiming in bulking in my bodybuilding routine.

Bodybuilding supplements. What are the specific supplements i should take? I know that I need Protein, amino acids, creatine and multivitamins.
There are many types of amino acids so what i should take?
what creatine supplement i should buy?
Is there are supplements out there that almost have all the supplements that i need in a single capsule?
Is “GNC Mens Multi-vitamins” is good?

I am 17 years if age,turning 18. 140 pounds.
I dont know what to do.
