The Bible talks about a man laying with a another man as a man lays with a woman(or some mumbo jumbo like that in Leviticus) being an abomination, but what if people who appeared to be attracted to the same sex were themselves the opposite sex of what they appeared to be? In other words, what if a man who liked other men was really a woman inside, but just had male genitalia? It’s not such a stretch. We see female bodybuilders who are more built than the average man, but we don’t call them men. We see “type A” women with more authority and decisiveness than the average man, but we don’t call them men. So what gives?
Also, if a homosexual had their genitals replaced so they would ‘fit’ with genitals of the sex they are attracted to, would God be okay with that?
What I’m thinking is that it’s possible that homosexuality is a form of being transgendered, where the body is designed to have genitals that are the opposite of what they were born with, but they don’t necessarily have a psychological attachment to being of one gender or another.

I can’t answer the last part of your question, only Jehovah God can do that. But, the Bible does say it’s a sin to lay with men/men~women/women. It’s not wrong to be gay, because I do believe many people are born that way, but it is wrong to act upon it.

I’m pretty sure the homosexuals wouldn’t be okay with that. Homosexuality isn’t the same thing as transgendered. In fact, there are transgendered people who actually are also homosexual. Like a man’s mind, attracted to men, but in a woman’s body.
If that god is really omnipotent and omnibenevolent, then it won’t get its feelings hurt or think its icky if people are gay. Its the commandments of cruel and ignorant men that forbid homosexuality.
Their DNA is still the same. Changing clothes or skin, the role and responsibility that God placed upon that person is still the same.
