As a recreational bodybuilder I’ve read all sorts about anabolic steroids but have never used any myself. Something that has always intrigued me is the fact that female users often experience clitoral enlargement, to the point that it can often resemble a small penis (!), and it got me thinking- does it therefore cause penile enlargement in men? I assume not, as I’ve never heard anything about it and would imagine if it did it’d be a viable alternative to penile enlargement surgery, but I thought I’d ask on here as I imagine I’ll get some interesting answers

Because women naturally have little to no testosterone, the effects you describe will occur. If you add external testosterone to a male, the body will try to remain in equilibrium and lower the natural testosterone production and shrinking of the testes will occur, in many cases habitual steroid users who stop doing steroids cannot get the body to restart the testosterone production and will have to be on medical amounts of testosterone for life.
