Usually when you’re body building, all the muscles will get the vitamins form your brains so you don’t need any additional. . . by the time you think you had enough you’re brains will, hopefully! start growing again.
    Do something useful mate.

No, it’s not necessary to take multi-vitamins if you work out although it isn’t a bad idea. I take CENTRUM vitamins along with extra Vitamin C.

You are right to not want to stress your body by taking unneccessary medications. Smart man. Centrum for men has a nice multivitamin that is great and affordable. If you are eating well-balanced meals and feel well, then I wouldn’t sweat it. Drink plenty of water so that your urine is pale. Many body builders load up on protein, stressing their body. If you are doing that, make sure you drink plenty and eat a variety of high fiber, high nutrition foods. Best of luck! Sounds like you are on the right track!

no man but u need vitamins from food eat bananas, apples. . . a lot it gives u energy and makes u feel good
but no need for any artificial vitamins

Taking multivitamins just fills in the ones you are missing from food.

All parts of our body need one type of vitamin or mineral to function correctly. So it cannot hurt.

a multi vit won’t hurt. depending on your routine it’s a good idea to take your meals every 2 hours through the day to keep your metabolism up. also creatine supplements help and are legal and made by your own body. by making sure you max out on protein you will bulk up. i’d recommend maximuscle cyclone, use it in the morning before a light workout then in the afternoon or early evening after your main workout.

I think that if you are going to do any serious body building, and by serious I don’t mean professional level, but if you are going to take it seriously, stick with it, measure your results and actually get results, not just lift weights a couple of times a week and call that body building. Then it is very important to take a “good” multi-vitamin. If you are going to be body building you are going to be putting very large strains on your body that it is not used to. This is a very good thing if done correctly, but at the same time your body is going to be needing all the vitamins that you probably aren’t getting enough of from your diet. I personally take GNC’s mega man, plus a couple of times a week I take a joint support complex. This is in addition to the meal replacement/protein shakes whatever else you may be planning on taking. Body Building is all about maximizing results, and to do that you need to give your body the nutrition it needs. Personally i feel like body building is 90% diet, 10% picking up heavy stuff.
