This is a totally serious question. I am trying to optimize testosterone for muscle growth. I read there was some study about how if you don’t masturbate for 7 days, there is a testosterone spike on the 7th day before it comes back down on the 8th day.
In any case, can anyone give some information on this? Bodybuilding is something I take very seriously, and I want to maximize every advantage I can have.

No man, its not true. I was watching this show and it test peoples beliefs on sports performance and why. The one i was watching was about how coaches tell there atheletes to not have sex the night before the competion. They tested testosterone levels before and after sex and they were even. it was actually a tiny bit higher afterwards. So its all good, bust a nut! haha peace

It’s always good to masturbate or make love. Testosterone levels should not change enough to make any difference to body building. I never did subscribe to the myth that one should abstain from sex before a game or event. I competed breast stroke & free-style in swimming, ran cross-country in track & field, and giant slalom in alpine skiing. I took these seriously as well.
I think bad, many sportsmen for example boxers go with out sex up to a week before a fight. The build up of testosterone inside their bodies gives them the extra endurance, focus and determination on there training.
Ejaculation soothes and relaxes the body, which also tends to make you feel lazy.
No masturbation, train hard and muscle gaining results will be your reward.
