i am just too stupid for anything?

Like I just switched my program in University from Kinesiology to Crimonology because I was too stupid to keep up with the speed of the labs. It seems I have to work so much harder than most people while they are out partying, and leaving everything to the last minute, while still getting better marks than me. I seem to have a slow reaction time, and always stutter when I speak, and always have to put 100% focus into doing something, I am easily distracted by the simplest things, and “zone out” all the time. During a conversation I try to listen, but i can’t and forget the info 5 seconds later, and I sort of have to “fake” the interest, when frankly I don’t care, because it is mentally impossible for me to be interested in someone else or care about someone elses emotions. I always get spoken down to if I am a crazy, or stupid when I speak to someone.

I’m a bodybuilder, and have my own strengths and weaknesses like anyone else, and I try to be confident with myself. I feel like I will always be single because I’m a good looking guy, but I’m just too stupid to have a normal conversation with a good looking female without “zoning out” or not showing enough interest in what they are saying, I’d like to show the interest, I just can’t, its not possible. I refuse to date fat chicks or ugly girls, but I can’t keep a decent looking chick interested because I am just too stupid to have normal conversation.

I was told I might have an anxiety disorder, adhd, or some type of autism but that isn’t important right now. I am so unbelievably unorganized and forgetful, and it just makes me depressed that I can’t free my mind of ignorance, and live the life I want to live; i feel trapped in my stupidity.

Why am I so stupid? Can stupid people like me find good looking girls?

    ADD, comes to mind.

Like, the only way to get out of your situation is to beat yourself up, and call yourself stupid. You will than see great changes. . .

Low confidence will also attract flocks of girls.

With less reverse psychology, I once knew a guy that worked out all the time, and I mean all the time. He did this to compensate. His mother was a recovering cocaine addict and was bringing up his brother. He grew up in that kind of home, and had it real tough, and kept having to be reminded of the situation. Maybe you have something like that in your past, that makes you feel insecure about yourself, and it might be good to talk that out with a therapist.

Stupid can. Non-stupid can. You can quickly transcend your circumstances.

    Quickly Transcend Your Circumstances

    By Generalist

    “Why me?”
    “Why am I like this?”
“Is there anything that works to improve my situation?”
“What can I do about it?”
    ??????????????????????????????????????…
Most of these questions express dislike of the circumstances and tendencies into which a person was born. Asking the why of birth and feeling cheated keeps a person trapped in those circumstances. . Many guess at answers, even though no one has them. Some invent religion in their hope for a better future, others give up. Still others decide to follow various paths depending on their innate, or acquired life condition.

The freest people, with the greatest opportunities, take circumstances and tendencies they were born into as givens and move on. They don’t wonder why. They don’t wonder what they did to deserve this. They don’t speculate about reincarnation or seek past life answers.

The circumstances of birth are what they are and cannot be changed. This was the answer in India and still is in many societies. Then, one man wondered, “What if it isn’t so?”

“What if people can transcend their circumstances?” He set about to discover answers. All the teachers available, all the practices recommended, didn’t provide answers to the question about how to transcend circumstances, so he found them himself.

He started to teach and did so for 48 years. After 40 years that he had a group of students who were trained enough to walk his walk. What he had to really transmit to them and all of humanity after his death was so revolutionary that he had to couch the message in metaphors and parables. These were processed, studied, debates, written about, annotated, distorted, corrected, pondered, for centuries in India, China, Korea and Japan. Some great and good, and many false paths were developed. The most direct and rational path was difficult to understand and took a lot of time to practice. Very few people could dedicate their resources to doing this.
Then one man, Nichiren, in thirteenth century Japan connected all the dots. He recognized that the way to transcend limitations was to accept them and move on with determination to clear the mind and improve life. To enable this, the element of focus, determination, respect had to be added. He combined it with the whole-life summation that had been developed over the centuries by the work of many brilliant people.
He used the Sanskrit term namas, shortened to Nam.

The result is the formula that enables the cobwebs and contradictions to be cleared out and replaced with clarity and the ability to transcend limits.

What Isaac Newton did for gravity, Nichiren did for all of life.
I have listed the main points and the words in Japanese. They are capitalized for clarity.

1-Things are always changing, yet the underlying realities common to all life do not change. KYO
2- -Causes produce effects. Sometimes this is not obvious because of the time lag between cause and perceived effect. RENGE. Renge also means that we can choose to release limitations at any time.
3-Life is both physical and non-physical. MYOHO. This is the term that includes the limited aspect of the perceivable and the unlimited aspects of the non-perceivable, and their inseparability.
4-Humans have the ability to focus their minds and achieve great results. NAM
The expansion into the ninth consciousness is founded on the repeated speaking of the sentence Nam Myoho Renge Kyo alone, and with others. The mind-heart-body is unified in the effort to transcend limitations.

Nichiren’s method is so profound that it takes years for people to discard their disbelief, even when they get phenomenal results in their life. It works for all of life, whether people believe in it, or not, as long as they try it with a focus on improvement.

It can be directed toward any goal, including expansion of consciousness. It’s one thing to be smart and frustrated; it is another to decide to try an extremely effective method of arranging the world in a better way.

My own experiences: phenomenal changes as a result of reciting the formula and working with the SGI for peace, culture and happiness. Caution, translation difficulties and cultural usages tend to cause many people to regard awakening to reality as a religion because it is called Buddhism. The original documents show that Nichiren did not intend for people to rely on a power beyond their own capacities for transcending limitations.
