Its a female. I want to cut its ears or get them cropped I believe is it still possible ?? Up to what age is it possible ???
Also how do I get my dog to get more muscular ??? I walk with it occasionally. But I want it to get muscular is it a vest for it to wear ?? What foods can I feed it to get it huge and is there a protein like the ones bodybuilders take to build and keep protein. Is there a source like a website to get this info ???? And another question
What is the breed called BULLY I believe they are pits but are they better than a ukc blue pitbull ???
Your dog is naturally built the way her genetics govern. The more you walk her, the more fit she will be.
The more you exercise, the more fit YOU will be. It’s the same thing.
As for ear cropping, it’s a personal choice, but it’s extremely painful and uncomfortable for your dog. . . if you love her, leave her ears be. She won’t understand why she’s hurting.
I suggest to not even do this to your dog. She may get worn out and may pass on. even if she is a pit bull. honestly, would you want your ears chopped off and would you want to train to get muscular day after day? but do whatever you want. your choice.
Not possible she has too much feeling n her ears already, she should have got them dome at 2-3 months of age.
Too old for ears to be done. I believe 14-16 weeks is the MAX that vets will do it. Most prefer even younger.
‘Blue Pitbull” is not a breed. ‘Blue’ is a colour. American Pit Bull Terrier is a breed. It’s a largely unregualted breed within the UKC that encompasses everything from properly balanced APBT’s to the monster disgustingly disproportionate piece of crap dogs that all the thug wannabes seem to covet.
‘rednose pitbull’ is not a breed, either.
To get pits muscular, loads of work and training are necessary. They can pull, do agility, run, and just work. Once they are working regularly and toning up, then switching to a higher protein food like Evo can help maintain that ‘cut’ look.
But, much of this is also genetic. If you didn’t buy from a breeder who selectively breeds dogs of a certain body type, then you can’t force it.
don’t do that to your dog. it’s awful. and they naturally bulk out. it’s only a puppy, let it grow by itself. My dog is still bulking(as in muscular) and he’s 3.
I would say that the doggie is too old to get its ears cropped.
personally i think the ears look better when they have not been cut or cropped, and its just cruel. walking will help and as for vitamins and protein, red cell is good.
1. 9 months is too old, for you to crop her ears now. it should have been done months and months ago. the only reason for ear cropping in pit bulls, is for looks, and for fighting! and i really hope you are not doing it for either. there is no medical reason for their ears to be cropped.
2. APBT are either big and bulky, or lean. i have 3, and they are by no means HUGE, but, they are fairly muscular. APBT are muscular anyways. if you are really hell bent on making her huge, buy a good brand of dog food with lots of protein in it. i believe they also make a pill for dogs too, but, i wouldn’t suggest that, b/c there is no telling what is in those things. and walking it occasionally isn’t going to cut it. to get massive muscle structure, there are many hours that need to be dedicated to weight training and pulling. im not talking many hours a day, but, all in all, its very time consuming. and i will suggest, not to do it now. she is still a puppy, and her muscles haven’t fully formed yet. wait until she is at least 2-3 years old before you start any kind of weight training. you wouldn’t send a 3 child year old into a gym and expect them to lift weights, with out any serious complications would you?
3. all pit bulls, bull dogs, and other dogs like that, are called “bully’s” they are in the “bully breed family” just look up bully breeds on yahoo or google, and it will show you all of the bully breeds out there. some, im sure you have never heard of.
Anything is possible but that doesn’t make it right or proper. Cropping ears is a horribly cruel practice and looks so unnatural and bizarre. This dog is much too old to have this done now. It would be extremely painful for her and because she is older, she will not be as tolerant as if it had been done as a baby. She could likely injure herself because of the pain and cause permanent scarring. Don’t do it. As far as conditioning, it will vary with her activity. Occasional walks won’t put her in top physical condition. Why would you want her to be massive?? And do not put her in a weight vest, it is very cruel. What, you are going to leave her with that load on her back while she sits around and then occasionally takes a brief walk???? Doesn’t make any sense. NO, you cannot give your dog protein or steroid supplements to bulk her up – ridiculous. Bully breeds refer to any of the bull terriers as the pit bull breed has been broken into different breeds now. I have a T-shirt with a picture of my AmStaff that says BULLY 4-ME. All dogs are good dogs, it is just the people who need to be fixed. Your ideas about your dog are too extreme and seem to be distorted. Maybe re-evaluate your thought processes for your dog’s sake.
