I want help becoming a Female bodybuilder?

I am a 17 year old female interested in becoming a female body builder (FBB), no I am not interested but determined to become one. Don’t tell me I will look like a guy, ugly or anything else I know what I want what I don’t know is how to get there.
(Don’t say “don’t use steroids” or anything about steroids I won’t use them)
I want to be ON an lacto ovo vegetarian (drink milk and eat eggs other than that a vegetarian) meal plan that I can make at home I will however eat chicken IF NEEDED but I really would rather go lacto ovo.

I would like any help with the lacto ovo meal plan I want to break it up so I eat at least 6 meals a day and maybe 3 or more different sets of day meal plans so I can rotate them to get variety of nutrients I will need with the lest amount of supplements (preferably none).

I have a bow-flex, an elliptical, a gazelle thing, a step bench, 2.5 pound leg weights, 1 pound wrist weights, resistance bands, a 22″ and 65cm inflatable exercise balls, a twist board, a set of (3, 5, 8, 20 lbs) free weights to work with
I don’t have a gym membership and won’t for a while.

Please any one willing to help in anyway especial someone willing to help train me or follow my progress.
I’m 5’7 and doing exercises to increase my height

I am 215 to 220 however I am not too over weight by looks I already have some good muscle

I AM NOT GOING TO USE STEROIDS EVER

This is a tall order kid, but please follow this, see your doctor first. Not trying to be pushy it’s just that you are a minor. I really do want to help you and I will.

First you should keep a few things in mind : You should not take anything yet as your body might not be done growing, steroids can stunt your growth as far as how tall you may become. Also, if you get hair loss and an enlarged you know what, that is not reversable you are stuck with it. While you are on them your voice will get deeper and you will be agitated easily. Your skin may get quite oily and yes that means body acne, not just on the face. Steriods are not made at the local store, it is an underground thing a lot of times and there is nobody to monitor the safety of them should they make a bad batch. Yes they are illegal, seventeen is old enough to go to jail in every state. Once a lifter stops taking them there size goes by by. They usually cycle for 6 to 10 weeks (depending on what they are taking) then they start to go back to ground zero.

So the pics you see in the mags are almost always contest time, you don’t see them when they get chubby and bloated. This is the basis of the endless circle that they talk about, you get addicted to seeing yourself look juiced up but can’t stay that way all of the time. You should also know that cancer is not the only disease you can get from taking them. You can almost bank on mild depression after you stop a cycle.

The diet you are talking about is NOT good for bodybuilding if you want to get huge, it is good for staying lean, man or woman. You should know that training heavy in general will increase your appetite, steriods will make you eat like a cow too so.

Please keep in mind that the guys from Arnolds day were the first to experiment with the drugs and they used really small doses compared to what they use today. You should also keep in mind that some of those guys had 18 to 20 inch arms naturally but it just took more time and they had to keep a closer eye on the nutrition part. So by staying clean until at least 20 will give you a great foundation and a chance to see what you can do without the gear. Just look back at how much you have changed since the age of 14 or 15, you are not the same person and you will keep evolving so think it through real good.

You need to incude a few good types of protien, not just chicken. If you don’t want to touch beef then at least consider turkey, tuna, fish, shrimp, chicken. Then you will be eating cottage cheese, different low fat cheeses, protien powders, egg whites, and small portions of nuts for your main protien and good fats.

Stick with green vegetables, yams, brown rice, oat meal, use low to no fat dressings, you can eat apples, small oranges, kiwi, strawberries, rasberries, peaches, cherries, these are all low index foods. If you need a list or some recipes a good place for you to start is ( body for life.com ). They have enough info online so you don’t have to buy the book. They also have a good exercise list for you to follow, including the cardio.

Keep in mind none of us can see what you look like so you may be fairly lean already given your age, I don’t know. The reason I say see your doctor first is because you may have a heart condition or high blood sugar, or the onset of asma (did I spell that right), and not know it yet so just go through the steps as it can never hurt to see your doc.

After you visit that site and write down your battle plans you can give me a holler and we will go over any questions you may have. There are alot of factors that go into this so all of this info is basic. Great bodybuilders find out over time what works for them and then they make adjustments which is what you should do. Remember there aren’t any 17 year old pros, this will take a little time but you have plenty. Good luck, hope to hear from you soon as a winner at heart.

Well you seem to have a good head on your shoulders because you know what not to do. I say follow the clean experts who have been there because they understand the strict discipline, regimentation and diet successful bodybuilding takes.

An expert like this guy, who gives advice for clean beginning bodybuilders.

BTW, I think bodybuilding is artwork of the human body and when successful you can look like a person who has reached their potential.
