  1. Peter H says:

There is a small but recognised risk of liver dysfunction when taking creatine supplements. It is not 100% guaranteed to help your bodybuilding. You are not guaranteed a second liver transplant. You have only one life.

You do your own cost-benefit sums.

post liver transplantees should not overload their liver with excessive amounts of “amino’s = protein

  3. abijann says:

Creatine is made from the use of proteins by
the muscles. It is a byproduct that has to
be disposed of through the kidneys.
When a person has a problem with the liver,
the kidneys have to not only try to rid the
body of the excess creatinine, it also has
to remove other toxins, also. . that the liver
can no longer convert to a non toxic form. This can overwhelm the kidneys and cause them
also to go into failure. After the transplant, All liver patients are told not to use any supplements or medications
that are not approved of or prescribed by
their doctors. Considering that we don’t
have the blood tests results showing how
well your kidneys or liver function is. . . no
one, here, can tell you for sure if this would be
    acceptable.

Hope this is of help to you.
