Lets check it out. Keep it simple. Carbs are used for energy. The problem is most people eat too many carbs on days where they are NOT active. Instead days you work out and exercise you should consume more, days you do not need energy, you shouldn’t eat them. Simple! Follow these three rules with carbs to get rid of those love handles and get some more love. 1. For weight loss only eat 100grams or less per day, I’d recommend 100 on work out days, 50 or less on non-work out days Never eat more than 30grams in a serving- The reason is simple, you don’t want to spike your insulin and store them as fat. 2. Timing: Eat them in the morning, and around your work out, avoid them late at night. At the start of the day is when you need your energy, not at the beginning, so why get it twisted? 3. High protein diet advice for weight loss?? (not Atkins)?
Tuesday, March 8th, 2011ABOUT ME: 5’4″, 25y.o, female, 213lbs.. Want to get down to 170 as mid-point and 145 as satisfactory. 128 would be ideal but don’t know if MY body would be able to do that.
Are there any low-calorie, low-carb, high-protein bodybuilder-type diets that are realistic to follow for weight loss?
Or would that just be Atkins? I don’t want to limit myself to TOTAL non-carb because I dont feel that’s livable.
I also want to limit the shakes. I can deal with fish for breakfast, fish for lunch, fish for dinner..

Basically I want an eating guideline that is very muscle-retention/muscle-growth conscious.
I did a very low calorie weight loss plan before and I was left with a 135lb body but it was mostly FLAB. Don’t want that to happen again!
