I’m taking a regular weight gainer shake. Rather then taking one full scoop in the middle of the day with two cups of milk, i take it once in the morning, and once at night. (One cup and a half a scoop.) My question is: Does it matter what type of milk i use in the shake? the directions say to use 2% milk, but if its a weight gainer, wouldnt it make more sense to use whole milk? Could you please give me some advice as to which is better, i’d much rather use whole milk

Stay with the lower fat milks, as the higher fat ones have too much cholesterol. You want to gain some weight but not at the risk of clogging up your heart arteries! I know that fattier milk does not seem like it would make such a difference but it would with the amounts you are consuming.
If you want to add a few more calories to the drink, add some low-fat, pro-biotic yogurt to the mix.
Also, add some fruit in the blender with your protein drinks – it makes it taste better and is good for you all around! Adding the fruit will make the drink an enjoyable and tasty part of your routine. . . something that is needed for extended periods of drinking these things.
