What has eating got to do with muscle recovering/building?

I am female and I am born with natural lean muscle mass.. The problem is when i was younger, i’ve played so many sports that made my calves bigger.. i used to not eat as much but as i hit puberty.. i ate a lot and played sports.. so i became more muscled. I HATE IT ! I’m really skinner i think i need more fat. Most of my body is made up of muscle but not thoe bodybuilder type. It just concerns me. My arms are skinny but there’s this little tiny muscle bump sticking out at the biceps? My calves are abit big compared to my ankles. I’ts called cankles I think.. Is there a way i can gain “FAT” not muscles? I need fat.. I’m flatchested as well.. I’m 15

Your question doesn’t fit your description at all. This is confusing.

Eating protein will help your muscles recover from strenuous activity, to answer your question.

As for the rest, the only way to gain mass is to pile on the calories. But I highly recommend you don’t do this as calves store fat.

You’re only 15 and to me it sounds like you’re suffering from body dysmorphia – exaggerrated/distorted body image. The important thing is to BE HEALTHY by exercising and eating a sensible diet. You can’t gain muscle like a bodybuilder without training and eating like a bodybuilder. Be healthy, and don’t over-analyze yourself. You might want to talk to your doctor about this as well. If there is anything to be concerned about with the size of your muscles related to your bodyfat, he or she can help you.
