I am 15 years old and i have been thinking about taking creatine this year or within the next few years. I workout regularly. Ive heard different things about it and how good it works. I have also heard that it may be bad for me at my age.

  1. Mike says:

Creatine should not be taken until you are about 16 at the least. Many experts would say 18, but that is because your body is not fully developed until your are about 19 or 20. You can take it at around 16 without any serious side effects. Some minor side effects might include stomach pain, and headaches, but if you drink at least 3 liters a day to stay hydrated and flush the excess creatine out of your system.
