I have been weightlifting and have started to plateau. Many of my friends recommend taking creatine but when should i take it? how long before a workout should i take it? I am taking a powder which i mix in with my protein shakes. i read about the loading phases and such but am unsure how often and at what times in the day i should take it. some of my friends say the loading phase explained on the product is exaggerated and the dose listed is greater than needed. how do i find the optimal dose based on my body mass index. thanks in advance for the advice.
