Which is really the best age for weight lifting and would it be responsible for example to wait for puberty period to finish before start training? Is it good idea to start training even if you’re fairly skin, or should you eat till you bulk up a little and than start training? Please don’t answer in base of what you think try answering from an article you may have read, or something like that. Thanks

I used to think I have all the answers, I started exercising when I was about 13 years old which is really bad. I ended up reading a health book from my PE Teacher and I learned you should start exercising at the age of 16, and as you grow you gradually become stronger and start exercising more. Your body will get used to it and will yearn for more exercise. Just remember you don’t have to bulk up to start training. You can start at any weight level, it doesn’t make a difference to the muscles. If you bulk up it will leave you with a shaggy result in the end.
