And why? Also, Is a Pomeranian a good dog for me? I’m 6’0 200lb a bodybuilder, I’m very active I like to run, and take VERY long walks (across the city of Toronto).
Also, I don’t have any younger siblings just two older sisters and my parents. And if it matters I’m going to college in September.
Also near the days/months of it’s death if it’s going to die of old age, will it still be active or will it just sit around.
I dont’ want to take my pom out for running, I want it as a house pet.

If you love to run and are very active, a little pom will not be your type. Find an athletic dog like Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Siberian Huskies, Greyhounds, Australian Shepherds and more.
Poms aren’t really for you. I recommend higher energy breeds such as labradors, springer spaniels, golden retrievers, German shepherds, ect.
Don’t get a small dog. Get a large dog breed like they use for the Iditarod. That way you have the option of walking or sledding across Canada as the weather permits. When it snows, you can use your sled dog to commute to college in September.
Since your active don’t get a Pomeranian. Since they are small pups their body is not well fit for being active. I suggest getting a Lab or a trained German Shepard to not bite. I have Yorkies and I love going on long walks also but they get tired real easy because of their small bodies.
